Centre for Sight is currently located at two sites, East Grinstead and London.

For your convenience Consultations and Free screenings for laser eye surgery are provided by our doctors in both London and East Grinstead. All laser eye surgery is performed at our Surgical facility at the internationally renowned Corneoplastic Unit, Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. Our sophisticated laser technology is located in East Grinstead within the hospital. We placed our surgical facility in this hospital location as a measure of safety and reassurance to our patients. This also places us in an academic environment under close scrutiny of our peers. Fellows at the Corneoplastic Unit also have the opportunity to observe and learn sophisticated techniques by providing care to eligible NHS patients. Although located in an NHS hospital we are also approved by the Healthcare Commission.

Please be aware that the facilities are located in an NHS hospital and whilst not the most glamorous are excellent in terms of clinical care and delivery and many reports on advocacy sites like www.lasik-eyes.co.uk are testament to the standards provided.

Cataract, phakic implant and Corneal Transplantation procedures are also performed in East Grinstead at the BMI McIndoe Surgical Centre, a private hospital located within the grounds of the Queen Victoria Hospital.

the future

Because of phenomenal growth, Centre for Sight has decided to move to larger premises in East Grinstead. Our goal is to establish state of the art eye surgical facilities that will be amongst the most modern in the UK and the world. The facilities will be designed architecturally to provide efficient and thorough eye care in a peaceful, modern and contemporary environment.

Building is well underway and our new dedicated eye hospital is on schedule to open early 2009.
