Your natural crystaline lens is removed and replaced with a multi-focal, bi-focal, mono-focal or accommodating lens.
These implants are usually ideal for those affected by age-related reading issues (presbyopia) and/or cataracts.

A phakic lens is inserted into your eye to work with your natural lens.
These implants are usually ideal for those with very high prescriptions or an inadequate depth of cornea tissue to allow laser vision correction to perform the level of correction required safely. |
