AcrySof ReSTOR
Designed to aid near and distance vision

The AcrySof® ReSTOR® is an Apodized Diffractive Optic Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens (IOL) and used in replacement of a cataractous lens or in Refractive Lens Exchange to provide good unaided distance and near correction. The Apodization of the lens results in varying ability to focus at near based on pupil size. A consequence of this is the inability sometimes to read in dim light conditions if the recipient has a large pupil. In these cases , your Centre for Sight surgeon might consider (based on your visual needs and requirements) an alternative implant.

Is AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL Right For You?

As with any surgical procedure, there are inherent risks and your results cannot be guaranteed. The team at Centre for Sight will be giving you additional information on the risks and the benefits prior to having surgery to help you decide if cataract surgery and the Acrysof Restor are right for you.
