“Vision Correction in the 21st Century” – A Seminar

We are currently living in great times for eye surgery and in particular vision correction. So much has happened in the last 10 years including the introduction of a “bionic eye” as well as stem cell transplants for restoring different parts of the eye. What really has made phenomenal progress has been vision correction surgery with advances in laser technology and treatments as well as new implants.

Centre for Sight has since 1996 been at the forefront of Vision Correction Surgery in the UK, introducing LASIK laser eye surgery, IntraLASIK with the femtosecond laser. More recently we introduced Victus Femtosecond laser cataract and lens surgery, along with a variety of lens implants including trifocal and polyfocal lenses which provide patients with more visual independence.
