We are pleased to offer FREE CONSULTATIONS with two of our consultant corneal surgeons Osama Giledi or Marcela Espinosa. To accurately determine your suitability for vision correction, it is important that you have a thorough clinical evaluation along with all the necessary tests. Both Osama Giledi and Marcela Espinosa have been Fellowship trained as Corneal Surgeons and have experience in not just vision correction, but complex disorders of the front of the eye. Marcela Espinosa additionally has expertise in Paediatric Ophthalmology having undergone training at Great Ormond St. Hospital, London.

Availability of Free consultations is on a first come first serve basis and spaces are limited.

Please note the following additional conditions prior to your appointment:

• Free screenings are to assess your general suitability for laser refractive surgery. After this initial assessment has been made, further tests may be required to determine your specific level of treatment. Where possible, these tests will be carried out on the same day as your screening appointment, otherwise we will schedule a second appointment free of charge.
• It is possible that your eyes may be dilated during your free screening appointment, which will make your vision blurry for four to six hours after instillation of the dilation drops. This will prohibit you from driving during the period of blurriness and therefore we recommend that you bring a friend or relative to drive you home after your appointment.
• If you are unable to bring someone with you to drive you home, or do not wish to have your eyes dilated, we will only be able to perform basic screening and as a result it may not be possible to reach a conclusive decision regarding your suitability for laser corrective surgery.
• We recommend that you remove your contact lenses prior to your free screening appointment as set out below: Hard Lenses: 4 weeks (includes gas permeable lenses) Soft Lenses: 2 weeks

• If it is inconvenient for you to remove your contact lenses prior to your free screening appointment as detailed above, we will only be able to perform basic screening and as a result it may not be possible to reach a conclusive decision regarding your suitability for laser corrective surgery.
• If you attend your free screening appointment without a driver, or have not been able to remove your contact lenses prior to the appointment, you may then have to be dilated on an alternative day. This second appointment will be charged at 50% of the normal rate. Any appointments required thereafter will be charged at the usual rate, as applicable.

If you attend your free screening appointment at Centre for Sight and it becomes apparent that you are not suitable for laser corrective surgery, the Consultant will discuss with you any alternative options available as appropriate. In this instance your eyes may not be dilated.

• If the Consultant recommends an alternative treatment (not Lasik, Tissue Savings Lasik or Zyoptix Wavefront), you will be invited to book a further consultation for specific evaluation of alternative procedures on an alternative date. This consultation will be charged at 50% of the normal rate of the private patient consultation fee and you will be evaluated by the Medical Director of Centre for Sight - Mr. Sheraz M. Daya. Additional tests or investigations required at that visit will be charged as normal. Any appointments required thereafter will be charged at the usual rate, as applicable.

Centre for Sight is offering free screening appointments for anybody who is interested in finding out whether they would be a suitable candidate for corrective laser surgery.

The availability of free screening appointments is limited by the following Terms and Conditions:

• The screening is entirely free and no charge will be made at any time for this appointment, or for any additional testing which may take place during this appointment.
• Free screening appointments are limited to one per person.
• Free Screenings are only available for individuals who wear glasses and/or contact lenses who may be suitable for Lasik/Zyoptix. If during an initial telephone conversation it is determined that Lasik/Zyoptix is not suitable alternatives provided by Centre for Sight may be offered and free screening may not be offered.
• Free screening appointments are only available at specified times.
• Free Screenings are subject to change and or cancellation at any time.
• Any surgery performed as a result of the free screening appointment will be charged at normal price.
• Surgery will be performed by Mr Giledi or Miss Espinosa, if the patient chooses to have another Centre for Sight surgeon perform surgery an additional charged consultation may be required. It is Centre for Sight policy that to see the operating surgeon at consultation.
