Cataract Surgery

It's now 5 days since my op and my eyes are seeing everything so clearly, I still can't believe it. I just wanted to convey my thanks to everyone at Centre for Sight especially Mr. Saj Khan who performed the operation.

The whole process has been very thorough and reassuring throughout - from the assessments that were done at the start, talking to Mr. Khan about the operation, the aftercare procedures with the nurse and the follow up appointment the next day with Mr. Khan.
 
On the day of surgery I was very nervous but Mr. Khan put me very much at my ease before and during the operation explaining different sensations such as water over the eye, bright lights, bit of pressure etc. At no point is there any pain not even after the anesthetic has worn off the next day. I am just surprised at how easy and fluid the whole procedure was with such amazing results.
 
The whole experience has been excellent from the friendly reception area to the caring nurses and the brilliant expertise of Mr. Khan. I have no hesitation recommending Centre for Sight to others - Centre for Sight have a holistic approach to improving sight making recommendations as to what is best for your eyes and being readily available for any queries you have.

As an artist my eyes are the most important part of my body. Opting for surgery to improve my sight, even though I was reasonably happy with glasses, I felt was a big risk to take (since no surgery is 100% guaranteed).

As I walked into the centre, the thought of exiting and returning home crossed my mind a million times but soon I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable.  The nurses were very kind and informative, they explained the procedure and showed a video which made things clear. My surgeon, Mr Saj Khan, went over the procedure again with me, allowing the opportunity to ask any remaining questions.  He was very professional, friendly and relaxed giving me the confidence to go ahead.

When I was a little girl of seven or eight, I lay in bed asking God to please let me see without glasses.

After fifty-five years, Mr Daya has made this possible. No more waking up feeling for my glasses, no more ensuring that I have my contact lenses and reading glasses when I want to go away, no more constantly searching in my handbag for my glasses when shopping.

My life has changed so much and Mr Daya and scientific advancement are responsible for this. I cannot thank him enough.

I felt I must thank you for the procedure you performed to both my eyes. I have to say I was extremely sceptical that you could do what you said. I duly went ahead and had my first eye done and the following morning I could not believe it when I was found to have 20/20 vision. The same thing happened after my next eye was done. You have no idea the impact this has made to my life to go out and actually recognise people and to see prices in the shops. My far vision is just as good as my near. I was going to say I wish I had had it done years ago, but of course it was not available. You are on the cutting edge of this technology. May I take this opportunity to wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Once again thank you so much, you will never know what you have given me.
