BERLIN — The Crystalens HD (Bausch & Lomb/eyeonics) was introduced here at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons annual meeting after having received its CE mark in August.
"Instead of just moving forward, [Crystalens HD] actually arcs and its optic ... is actually very powerful in terms of providing more focusing for near," Sheraz Daya, MD, said during a Bausch & Lomb sponsored event. "And since it moves, you've got 100% of light rays falling on the retina. There's no compromise in terms of contrast sensitivity and there's no issue of halos and glare also." |
