Silver Status – Investors In People awarded to Centre for Sight
Centre for Sight is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Silver status Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.
This award is recognition for everything we have achieved to date. It shows how the business has grown organically and continues to progress as we continue to evolve. It demonstrates that our core values around people, passion & progress are alive and very much at the heart of our business.
Gael Ogunyemi, Operations Director for Centre for Sight said “We have worked hard for this and I am very proud of what we have achieved this far. This is just the start of our journey as we will continue to strive to be an employer of choice. People are at the heart of what we do and this award ranks us alongside many of the best employer brands in the world.”
“Our team has engaged enthusiastically in the whole process and we are delighted to have been awarded Silver status.”
Medical Director Sheraz Daya says, “It has always been our goal to be a beacon of excellence in the provision of medical and surgical eye care and adding this status to other external accreditation including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, demonstrates both our commitment and success in being exemplary.
“There are very few if any health care organizations in the UK that have obtained all three awards.”
I personally would like to thank every member of the Centre for Sight team for their contribution, who should all be very proud and look forward to working together to attain even higher accreditation in the future.”
Investors in People is an internationally recognised standard for people management.
It reflects the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to be a truly top performing business.
As an organisation, IIP operates internationally in over 70 countries. In the UK there are now over 25,000 businesses that have received this accolade, but less than 3% have been awarded Silver standard, so we are really proud of our achievement.
