Mr Tahir Farooq is a highly specialised UK trained Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon who has practiced at King's College Hospital (London) since 2017. Mr Farooq specialises in a wide array of complex conditions including dermatochalasis, watery eyes (epiphora), droopy eyelids (Entropion/Ectropion/Ptosis), skin cancer (BCC/SCC), thyroid eye disease, facial nerve palsy and blepharospasm.

Mr Farooq graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 2007. He went on to complete his Foundation Training in London and his Ophthalmic Specialist Training covered numerous internationally renowned eye units within the West Midlands.

Mr Tahir Farooq has published in various peer-reviewed journals and is a mentor for undergraduate medical students in Birmingham and London. He has a passion for training the new generation of oculoplastic surgeons from all over the world.
